My wife and I first became involved with Amway and then with Excel Communications.
My greatest learning experience in network marketing, I call it getting my Master’s Degree, came with Amway. I was fortunate en0ugh to have a knowledgeable and extremely supportive upline where I learned the basics and advanced methods of not only network marketing but building and supporting my own team members. Here is where I learned to practice the expression: I can only be as successful as the weakest member of my team. This would motivate me to provide a great deal of personal and group coaching.
Although we were advancing through the Amway ranks, our problem was that we could not make the kind of money to justify our continued participation. When one of my upline showed me the Excel Communications opportunity, I jumped at it strictly because I knew that I could rebuild a team in Excel that would be financially rewarding for them.
That was a key element to my Amway training: you are only as as strong as your weakest link on your team. Meaning you constantly work with your team members, no matter what. Once they signed on the dotted line to join my team, I became their mentor.
I brought my Amway mindset to Excel – focusing on the goals of my team members rather than my own. It worked as I quickly climbed the Excel promotional levels to become one of their top leaders (at the time): Executive Director and, later, a National Training Director.
By your joining my team I can promise you the following:
~ Continuous technical support by our tech support department
~ Continuous marketing support by our top marketing people…plus me
~ Continuous mentoring
~ Continuous coaching
I look forward to working with you. To your success.
